Standards on paper mean little without testing behind them. A look at how in-house laboratories and recorded batch data keep infrastructure materials consistent.
A specification sheet describes what a product should do. Testing proves what it actually does, and for infrastructure materials the only test that matters is the one carried out on the batch you are about to receive.
Tested before supplied
GWC Asphalt's in-house laboratory is equipped with testing apparatus from premier manufacturers, including Penetrometer, Ductility and Elastic Recovery testing machines. It covers the range of tests needed to verify product quality against IS and ASTM specifications before a batch leaves the plant.
Controlled production, recorded batch data and in-house testing.
Records you can audit
The manufacturing facility is automated with PLC-based control systems. Software controls each stage of the operation, which reduces the chance of human error and maintains a continuous, auditable record of batch data.
Standards across the Group
- ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing (GWC Asphalt)
- GFRP rebars compliant with IRC 137:2022, ACI 440.6, IS 18256:2023 and ASTM D7957 (GWC Rebars)
- Road safety products supplied to IRC standards (Kamakhya Constructions)
For customers, that means fewer surprises on site and a clear trail to follow if a question ever comes up.
